We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. This role is located in Pune. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
As a development lead, will be responsible to
Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade full stack applications across UI, backend, integration, and data layers Design and implement scalable frontend architectures, reusable UI component models, and high-performance user experiences for complex enterprise workflows Build and optimize backend platforms, microservices, APIs, and service orchestration layers supporting mission-critical applications Design and develop AI-enabled application capabilities, including conversational interfaces, embedded AI experiences, workflow augmentation, and intelligent decision-support features
Collaborate and work with other teams in a platform operating model Analyze and support vendor software Stakeholder management Project Prioritization Provide second level support Usage of AI tools like Claude/Codex/Gitlab/Windsurf/ Co-Pilot Develop Unit Test Cases with a view to integration into CI/CD pipeline
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science/ engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required 10+ years of experience in software development required Designing and building RESTful APIs, service layers, and microservices using Springboot, JAVA Component-driven UI architecture using Angular & Node.JS Proficiency with text-based formats like XML & JSON Proficiency in Enterprise application frameworks and service-oriented design Proficiency with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Integration Familiarity with testing patterns and dev ops Familiarity with cloud / containerization Comfortable in Windows and Linux environments Build pipelines and automated release processes Previous experience designing and implementing new systems and features independently At BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at:
