The Eating Disorders Therapist plays a vital role within our interdisciplinary treatment team, providing individual, family, and group therapy while collaborating closely with medical, nutritional, and psychiatric providers to ensure comprehensive patient care. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based interventions. Facilitate eating disorder-focused therapeutic and psychoeducational groups. Actively participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, case consultations, and care coordination efforts. Partner closely with psychiatrists, dietitians, nursing staff, and case managers to ensure integrated treatment planning. Support patients and families throughout the recovery process while fostering hope and resilience. Monitor treatment progress and adjust interventions as clinically appropriate. Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Assist with discharge planning and continuum-of-care recommendations.
