Illumio Insights is our SaaS analytics platform that transforms network traffic data into actionable security intelligence. Built on a cloud-native infrastructure, Insights provides unified visibility and data analysis across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. We are building the next generation of practitioner workflows for Insights – moving beyond visibility into detection, investigation, and response. As Director of Product Management for Insights, you will define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for these next-generation workflows. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle from anomaly detection through response, building the capabilities that transform Illumio into a comprehensive detection-and-containment platform.

Your Impact

Define and own the strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for advanced security workflows within the Insights platform. Drive the product strategy for advanced threat detection and behavioral analysis capabilities tailored to modern security operations center (SOC) environments. Partner closely with engineering leadership across multiple engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver capabilities through agile development cycles. Collaborate directly with field teams , customers, and strategic partners to gather operational workflow requirements and validate product-market fit. Develop the innovation roadmap for advanced analytical models and AI/ML-assisted features that streamline security investigation and triage. Lead product planning for platform integrations with ecosystem tools, enabling security operations teams to seamlessly leverage Illumio capabilities within their existing workflows. Own competitive positioning against market alternatives, partnering with Product Marketing to articulate Illumio’s unified value proposition. Build and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, establishing strong PM practices as the organization scales. Your Toolkit: 10+ years of experience in product management or closely related roles (engineering, sales engineering, technical pre-sales) in enterprise security or networking. 5+ years of product management experience shipping analytics, detection, or workflow products in the network security or cybersecurity domain. 3+ years of experience managing and developing product managers. Deep domain expertise in network traffic analysis, security analytics, or detection and response – with a practitioner’s understanding of how SOC teams investigate and respond to network-based threats. Track record of defining and delivering enterprise SaaS products that security practitioners use daily, with demonstrable outcomes in user adoption and customer retention. Experience with data-intensive security products: flow analytics, behavioral detection, SIEM/SOAR integrations, or threat intelligence platforms. Established practice of utilizing data and analytics to inform product decisions, including product usage telemetry, customer engagement metrics, and market research. Ability to operate at both
