Role

Overview This role is responsible for assisting with production-related and inspection-related tasks in a manufacturing environment. You will monitor material quality, support containment and corrective action activities, and help improve supplier performance so that daily operations run smoothly and long-term quality expectations are maintained. What will you do? Support incoming inspection and production areas by identifying, documenting, and escalating supplier-related quality issues. Lead or assist with containment actions for nonconforming materials to protect production continuity. Track and follow up on NCRs, open quality issues, and supplier corrective action responses. Work with suppliers to drive root cause analysis, 8D problem solving, and effective corrective and preventive actions. Support APQP, PPAP, and engineering change activities related to supplier quality readiness. Maintain accurate quality records, status updates, and communication logs in the required systems. Partner with engineers, procurement, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve material quality performance. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring problems and supporting updates to inspection or control methods. How will you do it? You will stay close to the work   by responding quickly to supplier quality concerns, verifying the impact on incoming materials and production, and escalating issues with clear facts. You will use disciplined problem-solving   to support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up until issues are contained and closed. You will work as one team   with suppliers, engineers, procurement, and operations, sharing information openly and helping remove obstacles that affect quality or delivery. You will improve every day   by identifying trends, strengthening inspection approaches, and helping enhance existing methods to support safer, more stable, and more sustainable operations. What are we looking for? University degree and 1 year of suggested minimum experience, or a 2-year degree and 6 years of suggested minimum experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in supplier quality, quality control, incoming inspection, manufacturing quality, or a related production support environment. Knowledge of quality tools and methods such as NCRs, 8D, containment actions, root cause analysis, APQP, PPAP, and ECNs. Ability to read and interpret specifications, inspection criteria, and technical documentation. Strong communication, follow-up, and analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support daily operational needs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and quality tracking or documentation systems.

Nice to Have

Experience using PLEX, IRIS, SharePoint, or similar quality and tracking systems. Background in automotive, assembly, or high-volume manufacturing environments. Familiarity with ISO-based quality systems and supplier performance reporting such as PPM tracking. What do we offer?
