The CO 15 Stores Controller is responsible for material availability for Assembly consumption, parts ordering, scanning ILC material, and perform rack maintenance. This role is also accountable for adding, deleting, and setting up part for manual or mechanical ordering, maintain and track bin tags, maintain AMS accuracy, and processing material requisition cars and nonconformance material. This role must communicate potential material shortages to avoid production impact.

Candidates must be able to read, write, and conduct business in English Candidates must complete the full hiring process which includes but not limited to: Caterpillar Online Production Assessment (COPA), successful completion of Interview, background check, post offer medical questionnaire, and drug screen. Candidates must successfully complete and pass Basic Assembly Training (BAT), which is completed as a part of the new-hire orientation and onboarding process. Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Parts ordering and Maintaining part orders Scanning ILC material Rack Maintenance Managing and Tracking Bins Upholding AMS accuracy Process material acquisition cars and nonconformance material Communicate material shortages Schedule: N2- Shift (7pm-7am) Wednesday night – Friday night Basic Qualifications: Ideal candidate can safely work independently with a high level of energy, attention to detail, and accuracy. Candidate should have experience with EIMS, Visual Factory, and MESA systems. Must be able to operate a fork truck, and tow truck. Safe working habits and prior experience of at least 2 years on fork trucks required. Must communicate with other shifts, machine shop, assembly, dispatchers, truck drivers, distribution technicians in other areas, Supply Chain personnel, and management. Candidate will be required to stay in the position for 12 months with the exception of a promotion or nights-to-days move. Top Candidates will also: Be flexible to work overtime as needed to support production demands. Possess and show strong interpersonal skills and apply customer-based focus.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs. Must be able to bend and twist at the waist and be able to squat. S tand on concrete for 8+ hours. Consistent usage of required PPE for task being performed.
