The Platform and Devices Marketing team brings the best of Google's innovation—from products and services to partnerships and brand experiences—to even more people around the world.To achieve this ambitious mission across a global organization, the Chief of Staff (CoS) team acts as the central strategic, operational, and organizational engine for Global VP and the broader Platforms and Devices (P&D) Marketing leadership team. We serve as the connective tissue across all product verticals—including Android, Pixel, Chrome, Google Play, Nest, and Fitbit—aligning high-level vision with rigorous operational execution. In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution of organizational and executive communications in an AI-forward world—including all internal org messaging, executive social media, leadership briefings, videos, offsites, and emails. You will leverage AI tools to drive exceptional, innovative, and strategic communications, creating compelling, comprehensive, and engaging content that supports company and culture priorities while helping marketers get inspired, grow, and feel connected with our team and its mission. You will need to be a strong communicator, with an ability to understand and break down complex topics. You will work with the Chief of Staff as well as the VP of Platforms and Devices Marketing, to communicate to a variety of audiences–both internal and external. To succeed here, you will combine creativity with exceptional organizational skills to manage and juggle multiple high-priority organizational and executive communication projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Work with leaders and cross-functional teams to create and lead effective, strategic internal communications to our employees, leveraging AI tools to enhance reach, efficiency, and clarity. Create strategic, innovative campaigns and AI-driven content to engage, inform, and inspire employees. Write communications, presentations, talking points and change communications. Own and run internal news engines including blogs, newsletters, podcasts, and other AI-enhanced multimedia storytelling channels.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 7 years of experience in organizational communications, executive communications, writing, editorial, or content marketing. 3 years of experience in internal communications and writing for C-level executives. Preferred qualifications: Experience building relationships and collaborating directly with executive-level stakeholders and leadership. Experience managing executive social media presence and strategy. Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex, multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
