Windows System Administrator

The Windows Administrator will be responsible for the support of a variety of Windows Server Technologies, including; patching (WSUS), Windows Clustering, Windows Server (2003/2008), and Active Directory. This person will be responsible for defining and following key processes and procedures for the Windows functional area. The Windows Administrator will work directly with external customers to resolve critical infrastructure issues, perform installation and configuration of Windows related products, and provide quality assurance on customer installations. Core Responsibilities: • Create process, procedure, and documentation to ensure high quality customer support. • Support production infrastructure for internal and external customers. • Provide tier II level escalation as well as training and technical leadership to Tier I personnel • Drives efficient and effective resolution of customer issues • Work with sales and project management staff to execute on customer installs. • Participates in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage of critical customer and internal systems • Act as a subject matter expert for a range of Windows technologies including Active Directory, Exchange, Server 2003, and Server 2008. • This role requires complete ownership of projects, technologies, and issues assigned them. Items should be completed in a timely fashion. Attention to detail is critical in the success of this role.
