Administers nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients. Job Duties/Respnsibilities Use psychotherapeutic interventions to assist patients in regaining or improving their previous coping abilities and to prevent further disability. Uses the activities of daily living in a goal directed way to foster adequate self-care and physical and mental well being of patients. Provides, structures, and maintains a therapeutic environment in collaboration with the patient and other healthcare providers. Consistently demonstrates clinical competence in nursing procedure and patient care based on established theory and policy and procedure manual and maintains quality assurance standards for patient care.

Qualifications
Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Investigation. Please visit the following link for more information: https://info.flclearinghouse.com Prefer one (1) year experience as a Practical Nurse. Prefer six (6) months in psychiatric nursing. Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Florida required. Current CPR Certification required. Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications and their correct administration.
