Job Description Position Summary: AECOM is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Analyst IV for California State Grants with experience working with California state funding programs in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of school facility regulations and a demonstrated ability to manage the grant application and reporting process from start to finish. Key Responsibilities: Research and interpret California State regulations related to school facility funding. Identify and evaluate available funding opportunities. Prepare and submit accurate grant applications and all related documentation. Prepare and/or support preparation of expense reports for auditors. Collaborate with internal teams, attorneys, CPAs, and administrative agencies to gather required information. Maintain organized records of all grant-related materials. Work with IT staff to define data requirements and support grant tracking systems. Communicate clearly and effectively across departments to ensure compliance with funding guidelines. Understanding of financial and project management software systems. Familiarity with OPSC and CDE online systems. Knowledge of eligibility establishment and update. Analyze problems and propose solutions related to funding and regulatory requirements. Is able to read and understand statutes, court decisions, legal documents and similar material, prepare drafts of pleadings. Drafts litigation discovery documents, and works cooperatively with attorneys, clerical and technical staff and the general public. Acts independently and communicates effectively both verbally and in writing. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS + 6 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Preferred Qualifications: 6 years of experience with California state funding programs. Deep understanding of public-school facility program regulations and public construction requirements. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with coding concepts and database structures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized and detail oriented. Solid excel and spreadsheet experience Additional Information Sponsorship is not available for this role.
