The Enterprise Technology department is involved in exploring new and emerging technologies. This program will offer you hands-on work along with real-world research and development opportunities. State Farm continues to refine and expand the use of technology for employees, agents, and customers. You will have the opportunity to influence change and help us deliver on our mission to protect State Farm and its policyholders.    What You Can Expect: Summer Internship Dates: Wednesday, 6/1/2027 - Wednesday, 8/11/2027 (10 weeks) Onboarding  (Bloomington, IL):  6/1/2027 - 6/4 2027 Hours:  Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week Due to the short duration of the summer program, it is an expectation that hired interns will be available for the duration of the summer internship with little to no disruption in work schedule. Pay: $28.00/hour.   In addition, interns selected for our summer internship program will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend (minus applicable taxes)! Work Arrangement: HYBRID:  Selected interns should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment.  Please note that relocation benefits will not apply. We Are Looking For: Currently enrolled full-time Freshmen & Sophomore's 3.5 or above GPA preferred Present college students pursuing a major in Cyber Security, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems/IT, or a similar field of study. Experience (coursework, projects, work) in Information Security, Risk & Compliance, and Auditing Drive and initiative to lead and influence positive change Curiosity to solve problems Ability to thrive in a team environment, as well as work independently A desire to work for State Farm upon graduation A can-do attitude, and someone who loves to have a bit of fun! Has a basic understanding of risk and compliance Additional Preferred Qualifications Active involvement in cybersecurity clubs, organizations, or relevant projects Experience with Java and/or Python, AWS/Cloud knowledge Ability to demonstrate AI, Automation and Machine Learning interests is a plus
