2027 Summer Intern: Strategic Tax - Income - Corporate

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future. At a Glance You're a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university: Accounting This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field. Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027. In addition to role-specific projects, you'll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally. What you can expect in this role As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations. This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business. Internship responsibilities may include: Interns will help gather information and prepare responses to requests from state income tax auditors. They will also track state income tax legislative changes, organize files, and investigate and resolve outstanding debts with various governmental agencies. Interns will also assist with other assignments as needed. Gather information and prepare responses for state income tax audits. Work on state income tax legislative changes, including organizing files and analyzing bills.
