Job Description
Responsibilities: Partner with SRE , architecture, and application teams to implement security best practices and secure-by-design principles in the cloud . Partners with multiple stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and improve security initiatives to mitigate risks towards HPE networking cloud environments and assets . Collaborates with stakeholders such as engineering, product management, other security teams, program managers and partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery, and support of cloud security engagements. Monitor and improve cloud security posture across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, leveraging metrics to drive improvements and governance . Support compliance activities, cloud threat detection, incident response investigations, and forensic initiatives as needed. Represents the security engineering team in various technical forums and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced team members. Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the networking organization.
Education and Experience
Required: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline. Typically, 7-10 years of experience . Knowledge and Skills: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript. Comfortable designing and implementing AI-assisted security controls.
