Product Application Engineer Power Discrete Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Own global product technical support for HV power switch components used in multiple high volume applications: UPS, Solar, ESS, Data centers Support technical design-in activities in close collaboration with FAE and sales account team. Define and execute technical design-in collaterals: datasheet, application notes, evaluation boards. Define, plan and execute measurement campaigns in HV lab Build up relationships with customers and influence key stakeholders Provide and review technical content for product roadmap Run product trainings for FAE and Sales team (focus Greater China) Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power semiconductors or comparable field. At least 3–5 years' professional experience within semiconductor power electronic market, as application engineer, technical marketing or alike Good working knowledge of high voltage (>600V) power semiconductor switches, incl: wide bandgap switches, packages, etc. Experienced in running measurements in HV lab Track record to design in successfully products at key customer accounts, to create and support business wins. Experienced in using simulation tools such as PLECS, Spice, Demonstrated high customer orientation. Ability to manage stakeholders in a global organization. Intimate with Chinese business culture. Excellent English and Chinese communication skills. Readiness to travel regularly (33% of time) #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
