Roles & Responsibilities: As we continue to grow and innovate in a fast-paced, highly-competitive digital environment, we are seeking a Sr. Staff Software Engineer (iOS) who will be a senior technical leader on the WBD Global Sports Tech team, responsible for building and maintaining systems supporting Warner Bros. Discovery’s family of Sports products/brands, including Eurosport, NCAA/MML, and Bleacher Report. Operating with a function-wide view, you will work across multiple teams to drive technical solutions, influence architecture and decisions, and partner closely with product/project managers, users, development staff, and senior leadership to implement designs, develop and deploy fan-facing solutions. Drive strategic architecture investments across the WBD Sports platform, taking a function-wide view of technical solutions and their long-term implications. Independently map business and product needs to engineering projects, driving initiatives from conception through completion with minimal oversight. Serve as a key influencer in sports platform strategy, contributing significantly to both tactical execution and long-term technical vision. Ensure implementation of comprehensive test coverage, resiliency, disaster recovery, and operational excellence practices across Sports products and systems. Demonstrate excellent ability to document technical solutions and articulate them to both business and technical audiences. Present, advocate and champion engineering perspectives. Participate in Agile ceremonies and show ownership of work throughout the sprint process. Build and maintain highly available, low-latency systems that successfully serve
