Salesforce Senior Developer

Title:   Salesforce Senior   Developer    Location: Pune, India Johnson Controls is searching for a   skilled   and experienced   Salesforce   Developer   to work on the design and construction of JCI’s   Salesforce.com instances .   The   ideal candidate   will have a n   i n -depth   understanding of how to   translate   complex product requirements   into an   elegantly coded , usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable   solutions in the Salesforce.com platform and associated add-ons .   The   D eveloper will be working in an agile environment, with both onshore and offshore teammates, as well as with our leadership team ,   using iterative and   cutting-edge   de velopment   methods.

The d evelop er will   design and   build   robust , elastic, and maint ainable   Salesforce.com modules and solutions .   The applicant   will be   part of   an offshor e   and onshore team. He   must   be a self - starter   hav ing   a thorough understanding of   Saleforce.com administration, configuration, coding ,   integration st rategies , data manipulation,   roles   and profiles .     Candidate   will   participate   in   an   offshore dev elopment   team , as well as   collaborate with   onshore UI/UX Lead, Product Owner, Solutions Delivery Lead, and   Solutions   Architect   to plan and coordinate efforts.   Candidate   will   evaluate user requirements ,   in collaboration with   the   Product Owner,   engineers   and others.   The   d eveloper will be expected to make recommendations   on interacting with   legacy programs,   create design documents to illustrate software components, provide best practices on   Salesforce.com configuration and development ,   peer   review source code delivered by developers,   create and update   object   schemas and queries, and be able to read and interpret a current code base.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience   required , specializing in computer science, engineering ,   or   related   field   Minimum   3 + years of experience   administering,   configuring   and building Salesforce.com solutions.   Strong e xperience with   working with teams in an   onshore and offshore   model.   Experience with   APEX, Salesforce.com Objects, Integration, data manipulations, and security.   Strong experience in design ,   con s truction , and deployment   o n the Salesforce.com platform.   Strong experience with Database Design,   Database Objects and Procedures   Strong knowledge of design patterns and coding best practices   Experience with   developing   SaaS applications   Experience with single sign-on, session management, user profiles, and user identity and   authentication frameworks   a strong   plus.   Experience with   troubleshooting and   solving performance issues   Experience with cloud platforms (ex . MS   Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform),   a plus .   Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices and concepts   Experience   using   Jira   and   Confluence   Excellent   c ommunication   a nd   t eamwork   s kills   Experience and   desire   to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment
