What will you do as a North America Director, EHS&S at Sealed Air?

As the North America Director, EHS&S, you will provide strategic leadership and operational direction for all Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability programs across 40+ manufacturing facilities throughout the region. You will lead the development and deployment of world-class EHS&S systems focused on reducing operational risk, strengthening machine safety performance, driving regulatory compliance, and fostering a proactive culture of accountability and care. In this role, you will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership to deliver sustainable improvements in safety performance, operational excellence, environmental stewardship, and leadership effectiveness across North America.  Why do we need you?

Develop and execute the North America EHS&S strategy aligned with global business objectives and operational priorities. Drive critical risk management initiatives focused on machine safety, electrical safety, contractor safety, environmental compliance, emergency preparedness, and operational reliability. Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Plant Leadership teams to build and execute multi-year EHS&S master plans across manufacturing facilities. Lead the standardization and implementation of EHS&S programs, management systems, audits, training initiatives, and continuous improvement processes. Strengthen a proactive safety culture by influencing leaders at all organizational levels and promoting accountability, engagement, and ownership of EHS&S performance. Monitor and analyze EHS&S KPIs, lead risk-based audits and investigations, and ensure timely corrective actions across the region. Manage and mentor a high-performing team of regional EHS&S leaders while supporting organizational development and succession planning. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, and other applicable environmental and safety regulations across North America.
