Who   we’re   looking for:   The TFS   Enterprise   Shared Service   team is   seeking   a highly motivated person to fill an opening as a   Director   Software Engineering   to help our growing   Enterprise   Shared   Services   needs .     The   Director   Software Engineering   is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all technology-related initiatives   for   TFS's   Enterprise   Shared Services and   frameworks . This role entails developing and executing the technology strategy to ensure alignment with overarching business   objectives . The   Director of   Software Engineering   must   leverage   their technical   expertise   to drive innovation and deliver impactful business outcomes. Additionally, they should   possess   strong influencing skills to shape strategy and forge partnerships both internally and externally   collaborating   with   Technology Domain Owners   (TDOs) , Enterprise Architecture, Data Domain Owners (DDOs), and Business Domain Owners (BDOs).    What   you’ll   be doing   Leadership and Team Management:   Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.   Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members to ensure individual and team goals are met.   Manage performance evaluations, career development, and succession planning for the team.     Technology Strategy and Execution:   Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for technology initiatives to deliver industry leading real time platform and tools that can be   leveraged   for cloud based distributed systems, AI/ML, critical workflows, enabling seamless communication across systems for customer notifications, servicing updates, and operational events.   Implement advanced solutions using technologies like Kafka, AWS MQ, and other distributed systems to support real-time communication at scale.   Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technology solutions that enhance employee experience.   Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve and innovate our technology offerings.     Vendor Management and Partnerships:   Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.   Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and drive value-added partnerships to support our technology initiatives.     What   you bring
