We're currently seeking a Senior Program Manager, Risk and Compliance to play a crucial role in our Delivery Service Partner (DSP) network. This position is vital to ensuring our entire last-mile ecosystem - including DSPs, their Delivery Associates (DAs), and Amazonians - operates with the highest standards of compliance and integrity. As the successful candidate, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing robust compliance mechanisms, fostering a culture of awareness through ongoing monitoring and communication, and spearheading strategic initiatives. Your goal will be to elevate Amazon's Last Mile network to best-in-class compliance levels, reinforcing our commitment to operational excellence and customer trust. Key job responsibilities Lead first-line compliance mechanism development and enhancement, including designing new compliance controls, coordinating cross-functional teams to implement and launch solutions such as new tech features, and improving existing controls for identified risk areas Spearhead initiatives to ensure DSP and Amazon compliance with evolving regulations and contract changes, including but not limited to DA Working Hour Compliance (WHC), ensuring DAs maintain valid Right-to-Work documentation, DSP fraud prevention, and ensuring DSPs continuously maintain regulatory-compliant entity structures (DSP Entity Monitoring) Drive cross-program coordination for complex compliance transitions requiring senior leadership engagement, stakeholder management, and the development of tools and processes to measure and drive compliance at scale Track and report on existing compliance mechanisms, analyzing trends, identifying improvement opportunities, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve set goals Facilitate and manage compliance activities, achieving timely resolutions of compliance issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Own and drive compliance-related communication and guidance programs for internal and external stakeholders to increase compliance awareness Lead cross-program and cross-geography initiatives, collaborating with other Last Mile logistics program teams (e.g., AMXL, Hub DP) and international counterparts Foster team success through mentoring and coaching that enables team members to excel and grow professionally About the team The DSP Compliance team exists to ensure Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) maintain compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements while supporting them in building successful businesses. We also support Amazon's own compliance posture by adapting to evolving regulatory environments. Our approach is multi-faceted: we build and operate compliance vetting and monitoring mechanisms, provide clear and timely guidance to stakeholders, and respond creatively to regulatory and environmental changes — all in service of enabling DSPs and their Delivery Associates to succeed, and ultimately driving the success of the DSP Program as a whole.
