What you need to know: Collections processes: register payments to the right policies via semi-automated or manual methods Preparation of refund payment orders as well as following-up the shared mailbox for this purpose Provide customer service, resolve situations presented by producers, insured and internal clients, related to premium payments, such as attention to unrecognized charges, duplicate charges and other collection questions Responsible for providing all local and global reporting activities for the Collections area. Prepare financial and accounting reports in compliance with US GAAP and FAS 5 requirements. Provide KPIs related to the main operational and financial metrics of the department. Consolidate and analyze critical information related to overdue premiums. Prepare presentations and executive summaries for the Executive Committee. Work collaboratively with the Accounting team to provide relevant financial and operational information. Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies to reduce manual efforts and optimize report generation activities. What we’re looking for: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field of study This position suits candidates with at least 1 year experience in the insurance industry as well as work related responsibilities. General understanding of accounts receivable and billing process Proactive, resilient, analytical and organized Customer service Productivity improvement Excellent written and verbal communication skills Efficient time management Excellent teamwork skills Willing and able to adapt to change Language skill: Basic English (desirable, not mandatory) Proficient in the use of MS Office suite products specially Excel (a must) and Word.
