The Effector Digital Products department is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong digital electronics design and analysis skills to join our team and directly support the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM®) program as a Cross Product Team Lead (CPTL). The CPTL will oversee all Electrical designs across the program, including the Guidance Electronics Unit (GEU), the Quadrature Target Detection Device (QTDD), and the Data Link Electronics (DLE) subassemblies. This position is an onsite role, located in Tucson, AZ.
What You Will Do
Responsible for direction and oversight of the EE team across the AMRAAM program. Support design, analysis, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and CCAs. Ensure the team is executing the program plans and in accordance with established processes.
Qualifications
You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience Experience in circuit card design including hardware designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, Aurora, I2C, SPI, and UART. Experience in taking a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level to development of a complete hardware design, and verification via test and integration Experience with PCB design process and experience in tools used to design (schematic capture), analyze and simulate designs prior to hardware execution Qualifications We Prefer Experience in the development and design of electronic circuit designs, multi-assembly system/unit design, processor designs a plus Experience using Mentor Graphics Design Creation (Siemens EDA) tools: DxDesigner, xDX Designer VX, and Expedition Experience with embedded test techniques, design for test, design margin analysis and design for production Experience in managing cost, schedule, and resources to meet assigned milestones Ability to function in multi-disciplined design teams across multiple projects Advocate for process improvement Experience using Mentor Graphics (Siemens EDA), PCB electronic circuit design software: HyperLynx signal integrity, power integrity, and analog simulation, Xpedition Enterprise (xPCB) Team and project leadership skills Experience leading a program transition from development to production Ability to manage technical and schedule risks and to identify cost reduction opportunities Knowledgeable in cost/schedule development and management What We Offer Our values
