System Development Engineer II, Manufacturing Systems Engineering

Within Amazon, IT exists to accelerate development and enable scaled manufacturing. You will be working to establish a departmental IT team from the ground up, acquiring and managing commercial-off-the-shelf CAD/simulation/product software necessary for IRG growth. - Architect, build, and administer commercial-off-the-shelf software applications consistent with Amazon's standards, security policies, and industry best practices. - Implement monitoring and application integrations using AWS tooling. - Establish and maintain identity management (AAA) using Amazon standard tooling (Federate, idPrism, Authguard). - Ensure high availability and business continuity for managed applications. - Assist with technical aspects of software vendor relationships and contract negotiations. - Participate in a team oncall rotation.
