Vernon, MO USA Activity at Location:                                      Manufacture of conveyors Work Eligibility:                                             Must be eligible to work in the USA Relocation:                                                       Relocation not available Reports to:                                                       Finish Supervisor Job Description: The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling and testing conveyor systems and related components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, models, and quality standards. This position requires the ability to safely use hand and power tools, follow assembly procedures, maintain productivity goals, and ensure that finished products meet all applicable requirements.

Build, assemble, and test conveyors Install belts, gear boxes, motors and other components and sub-assemblies on structures Prep finished machines for shipping and aid in the loading of trucks Material handling different components and conveyors both inside and outside the plant Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to work assigned shift. Must speak, read, write English fluently. Must be mechanically inclined Effectively operate an overhead crane Ability to determine how to load a truck Must be able to use hand tools and air tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to read tape measure Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PLC’s Experience with 3-phase and 12/24 VDC electrical control systems State electrical license Familiarity with Hydraulic components and their operation Knowledge of troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems Ability to read and interpret schematics Experience working directly with Engineering teams Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work as a team Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities Excellent verbal and written skills Highest level of integrity, honesty and trust Drive for results Excellent listening skills Strong communication skills Perseverance A “Can do” attitude and ability to interact with a multi-functional team Ability to work with others to meet deadlines Physical Requirements: Performs climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting; holds and grips objects; exerts in excess of 100lbs of force occasionally and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20lbs of force constantly to move objects.  Subject to prolonged periods of walking and standing.  Subject to repetitive motion of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

This position is subject to working both indoors and outdoors, subject to extreme cold and heat due to the weather, subject to noise and subject to fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases or poor ventilation that could affect the respiratory system of the skin, is also subject to oils.  The position is also required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
