About this role
This role can be available in London, Barcelona or Luxembourg. At Amazon, we are working to be the most customer-centric company on earth, where customers can find and discover anything they might want to buy online. The goal of Amazon Transportation network is to build a world class middle and last mile operation, exceeding the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. We are looking to hire a passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative and hands-on candidate to join the EU Demand Forecasting and Planning team. This role blends programme management, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement across a complex, multi-country planning environment. You will own workstreams end to end: structuring problems, diving deep into complex supply chain and logistics data, extracting insights, and presenting recommendations to senior leaders that shape how we plan and operate across Europe. You will support the transportation network to improve and optimise the way parcels are shipped from our fulfilment centres and delivered to our customers. You will work on problems like volume planning and demand forecasting, process improvement, and capacity optimisation, partnering with stakeholders across fulfilment, middle mile, and last mile operations. You will generate demand forecasts, own forecast accuracy and performance, and present planning outputs to leadership as part of the S&OP cycle across EU countries. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with good attention to detail, and who enjoys working with large-scale data. You will manage competing priorities from multiple EU stakeholders, drive alignment across planning and operational functions, and ensure that the team's planning outputs are accurate, timely, and actionable. In order to be successful in this position, you need to be comfortable interfacing with senior stakeholders as well as driving various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organisation. Your drive and ambition, combined with an open and curious mindset, will fuel continued innovation within our culture. This will be an exciting opportunity for you to possess a high level of autonomy and drive real operational improvements, while managing a variety of job responsibilities. Key job responsibilities - Own and drive planning workstreams end to end, coordinating across multiple functions, countries, and timelines to deliver on programme milestones. - Generate and maintain demand forecasts, owning forecast accuracy and performance across planning cycles. - Conduct deep dives into complex supply chain and logistics datasets to extract insights, identify trends, and uncover root causes that inform planning decisions. - Present findings, recommendations, and programme updates to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders with clarity and confidence. - Manage multiple parallel projects simultaneously, balancing short-term deliverables with longer-term strategic initiatives across EU. - Collaborate with EU-wide stakeholders across planning, operations, and analytics functions to align on priorities, resolve blockers, and drive consensus. - Design and improve analytical frameworks, processes, and reporting that support the team's planning functions at scale. - Structure ambiguous problems into clear analytical plans and deliver data driven answers that move decisions forward.
