About this role
The Technology Product Management Senior Analyst for a C12 role, is primarily responsible for providing strong support in project and program governance within a specific business or function. This role ensures adherence to Citi Program Management policies and standards, with a focus on diligent financial tracking and effective utilization of the Project Tracking System (PTS). The PMO supports project teams in managing their work efforts, enhancing delivery, and mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities
This C12 PMO role will include, but not be limited to, the following key responsibilities: Financial Management: Track and report on project budgets, actuals, and forecasts. Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets, identifying variances and escalating discrepancies. Support financial reconciliation processes and ensure accurate financial data entry into relevant systems. Assist in cost analysis and financial planning for projects within the portfolio. Manage financial chargebacks and allocations as per established guidelines. Project Tracking System (PTS) Management: Ensure timely and accurate entry and maintenance of project data within PTS. Generate regular reports from PTS on project status, milestones, risks, and issues. Support project managers and teams in navigating and utilizing PTS effectively. Monitor PTS data quality and ensure compliance with mandatory data fields and reporting standards. Book of Work (BoW) Support: Support the active management and oversight of the organization's BoW, ensuring its completeness and accuracy within tracking systems. Assist in monitoring and maintaining BoW segmentation. Assist in monitoring project management practices and deliverables to meet minimum requirements. Oversight and Reporting Support: Support the preparation of executive reporting on the Book of Work, including financial summaries and PTS-derived metrics. Assist in monitoring RAG statuses, risks, and issues.
Qualifications
Typically requires 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Financial Analysis, or a PMO function within a large corporate environment, preferably in financial services. Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and governance frameworks. Demonstrated experience with financial tracking, budgeting, and reporting. Proficiency in Project Tracking Systems (PTS) and other project management tools. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
