The Senior Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor leads a team of manufacturing engineers and/or technicians while providing technical leadership to support manufacturing operations and strategic business objectives. This role combines people leadership with hands-on engineering expertise to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, new product commercialization and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring compliance with Boston Scientific's Quality System.   Work model, sponsorship, relocation: This position follows an on-site work model and requires employees to work from the designated Boston Scientific facility. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.   Your responsibilities will include: ● Supervise, lead and provide technical direction to a team of manufacturing engineers and/or technicians while contributing directly to the technical responsibilities of the department. ● Partner with the manager to provide coaching, guidance and development opportunities that support employee growth, engagement and performance. ● Assist with recruiting, hiring and retaining a high-performing engineering team. ● Support the development of departmental goals, objectives and budgets aligned with business priorities. ● Assist with workforce planning and resource allocation to meet operational and project needs. ● Prioritize, manage and execute multiple engineering projects simultaneously. ● Lead manufacturing engineering initiatives, including Value Improvement Process (VIP), Strategic Activity Review (STAR) and new product development projects. ● Lead cross-functional engineering teams to successfully achieve project objectives, timelines and deliverables. ● Build and maintain effective partnerships across manufacturing, quality, operations, research and development and other functional teams. ● Identify, troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing and engineering issues to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost. ● Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures and quality system requirements. ● Represent Manufacturing Engineering on new product development teams and support successful product commercialization. ● Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and all documented quality processes and procedures.
