The T&D Supervisor of Engineering– System Health is responsible for overseeing engineering services that align with regulatory requirements, business unit/division goals and objectives, fiscal policy and established engineering practices.  This role leads critical activities supporting operations and maintenance asset reliability, including engineering decision making, emergent and planned equipment replacements, technical analyses.  The supervisor ensures methodologies are sound, conclusions are verified, and information is consistent to support strategic business decisions. Additionally, the position develops asset strategies and budget to enhance system reliability, establishes team priorities, and ensures operational decisions comply with policy. Supervisor will attend and participate in industry conferences for asset management strategies and act as APS representative in benchmarking to maintain good system reliability. Finally, the supervisor will inform and communicate company policy information, changes and requirements to staff. Minimum Requirements

A four-year Bachelors degree in engineering or related applied science discipline (see approved list) from an ABET accredited institution, an International Engineering Alliance (IEA) recognized institution or an ABET Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) or PE registration in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited institution, plus five (5) years of related engineering and design experience.  Approved Engineering degrees:  Materials Science/Metallurgy, Physics, Chemistry, Nuclear, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, Computer Science, Environmental, Chemical, Architectural, Structural.  A four-year bachelor of Engineering Technology degree is not considered an automatic equivalent for a B.S. degree in Engineering.  A review of the degree program curriculum must be completed by the Engineering Career Path Review Board to determine equivalency level. Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualification:

Professional Engineer registration.  Demonstrated supervisory experience and ability.  Possess working knowledge of T&D engineering applicable codes, standards, practices and methods in specific engineering discipline and in-depth technical knowledge of transmission, distribution,, operations, and maintenance with a focus in substation assets.  Strong process improvement, data analytics and business focus.  Preferred knowledge of MAXIMO, DireXYion, DGA analysis (TOAN, TOA4), PowerPlan, Denodo, and data analytics in PowerBI. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet. Major Accountabilities
