Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role Lead innovation and development projects in collaboration with multiple departments and international sites Develop new materials and material systems considering chemical and physical interactions in bulk materials and at interfaces Conduct patent searches and evaluate the patent landscape while generating Intellectual Property (IP) in the field of semiconductor devices (materials, processes, design, and equipment) Define material and process requirements based on product needs with respect to functionality, reliability, and cost Perform risk analyses and assessments based on profound materials science expertise Independently design, plan, and execute experiments to optimize materials, processes, designs, and their interactions Analyze, interpret, and evaluate experimental, modeling, and simulation results and derive design rules as well as further development activities Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed A completed technical degree (Master's or equivalent) in Microsystems Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field Experience in statistical experimental design as well as in the analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of experimental results Solid knowledge of assembly processes as well as the equipment used and its impact parameters on process and product quality Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills for addressing complex technical challenges A high level of initiative , accountability, and results orientation Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration within interdisciplinary and international teams Fluent communication skills in German and English , both written and spoken #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
