About this role
Everpure (NYSE: P) has evolved from storage pioneer to data platform, closing fiscal 2026 with $3.7 billion in revenue, its first billion-dollar quarter, and accelerating growth into FY27. Our strategic agenda spans the companies defining the next era of technology - hyperscalers, AI labs, the AI hardware supply chain, data platform providers, and the broader AI ecosystem.
This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLE
As an Associate Security Engineer at Everpure, you will join the Global Information Security Office (GISO) and begin your security career alongside the engineers and architects who protect our global cloud, infrastructure, and platform environments. You will learn by doing: supporting real security work, automating the manual parts of it, and building the hands-on foundation that security engineering depends on.
This role is built for early-career engineers who are curious, methodical, and eager to be mentored, with a clear path toward deeper technical specialization over time. No prior professional security experience is required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Support Day-to-Day Security Engineering: Assist with configuration, tuning, and routine health checks of security tooling across cloud and endpoint environments, working from documented runbooks and standards with guidance from senior engineers.
• Build Automation and Tooling: Write and maintain scripts (Python preferred) and small integrations that remove manual effort, including pulling data from APIs, generating recurring reports, cleaning up findings, and connecting tools to each other.
• Learn Detection and Telemetry: Work with log and telemetry platforms such as Splunk to run queries, validate data sources, and help investigate and document findings alongside Security Operations.
• Contribute to Reviews and Documentation: Participate in design and configuration reviews to see how real security trade-offs get made, capture the decisions that come out of them, and keep standards, diagrams, and runbooks accurate as systems change.
WHAT YOU BRING
• Foundational Technical Knowledge: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience, with a working understanding of operating systems (especially Linux), TCP/IP networking, and core security concepts such as authentication, encryption, and least privilege.
• Some Hands-On Exposure: Coursework, internships, labs, CTFs, personal projects, or open source contributions where you have worked at a command line, read and modified code, and touched a public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Scripting Ability: Comfort reading and writing basic Python or a similar language, and the appetite to grow into production-quality automation.
• Analytical Problem Solving & Communication: Methodical approach to troubleshooting technical problems, combined with the ability to ask inquisitive questions, absorb feedback, and document technical processes clearly for cross-functional partners.
• Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Lehi, UT office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
