FP&A Analyst, Expense Management

PagerDuty is looking for an FP&A Analyst to support Expense Management. In this role, you'll help deliver analysis and insights on company spend, partnering with Finance leadership and business partners across financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.

• Support the preparation of monthly budget vs. actual analysis and assist with review sessions with Business Leaders in GTM, R&D, and G&A functions.

• Serve as primary liaison with Accounting to support monthly close activities, including purchase order and invoice accruals and reclasses.

• Support Corporate FP&A by assisting with the monthly forecast, annual budget, and long-range plan processes, identify variance drivers, and contributing to reporting and presentations to executive management and the Board.

• Develop, analyze, and interpret financial and operating results, providing insights and recommendations to improve forecast accuracy and visibility.

• Support the development of financial models and reporting to help meet business partner and leadership needs, including assisting with materials for executive and board-level presentations.

• Perform ad-hoc projects, financial analysis, and presentations for senior leadership and executive management as you grow into the role.

• Support vendor and platform administration for expense systems.

• Help identify opportunities and implement ways to utilize AI and automation to improve processes and tools across expense management and FP&A.

• 0-2 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, expense operations, or FP&A.

• Familiarity with corporate platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Coupa, Pigment) a plus.

• Strong Excel/financial modeling skills and comfort working with high volumes of transactional and financial data.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
