A Day in the Life The Strategic Key Accounts team is responsible for developing and expanding relationships with large, complex healthcare organizations and strategic customers. This function partners across commercial, marketing, and business unit teams to align account strategies with customer priorities, identify growth opportunities, and support long-term business partnerships. The role focuses on portfolio growth, market share expansion, strategic account planning, and value-based customer engagement. This position is based in Gurgaon, India and operates in a remote work environment. The role requires approximately 30% travel to customer sites, internal meetings, and key stakeholder engagements across the assigned territory. The Strategic Key Accounts Representative IV is responsible for managing strategic healthcare accounts, building executive-level customer relationships, and driving business growth through account planning, portfolio expansion, and commercial execution. This role collaborates with internal stakeholders and customer leadership teams to identify opportunities, develop account-specific strategies, and support achievement of business objectives across assigned accounts. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Develop and maintain relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers within strategic healthcare accounts. Create and execute account plans aligned with customer priorities, business objectives, and growth targets. Identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunities within assigned strategic accounts. Collaborate with business units, marketing, and cross-functional teams to implement account strategies and customer programs. Analyze customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive activity to recommend solutions that support account growth. Negotiate and support long-term contractual agreements that strengthen customer relationships and expand portfolio adoption. Monitor account performance, sales results, and opportunity pipelines to achieve revenue and market share objectives. Provide customer and market insights to support strategic planning, pricing discussions, and business decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within the medical device, healthcare technology, life sciences, or healthcare services industry. Demonstrated success leading complex negotiations and supporting contractual business agreements. Experience collaborating across multiple business units and cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions. Knowledge of healthcare market trends, hospital operations, and strategic account management methodologies.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 10+ years’ experience* OR Associate’s Degree AND 8+ years’ experience* OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 6+ years’ experience. Experience managing strategic or enterprise-level customer accounts with responsibility for revenue growth and relationship management. Experience engaging with C-suite executives, hospital leadership teams, and procurement stakeholders. Experience developing and executing account plans, business reviews, and customer engagement strategies. Demonstrated ability to influence senior customer stakeholders and manage complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
