Job Title: Lead Software Engineer - Workday The Purpose of This Role Fidelity’s Corporate Services Technology group is seeking a tech‑savvy individual contributor with expertise in the Workday platform and Workday integration development. The role is responsible for the design, development, and ongoing support of the Workday Core platform, Workday Extend solutions, and custom integrations. The Full Stack Engineer will work closely with technical architects, stakeholders, and product managers in building, supporting & enhancing these solutions. The Value You Deliver This is purely a hands-on Workday Integration Developer role where you need to engage in developing business solutions & integration for SaaS Platforms, you work closely with Architects, Squad Leads, Squad members, Scrum master, business stakeholders and help in mentoring the teams in delivering solutions.   Responsibilities of the role includes. A technology focused software development space with a focus driven attitude towards developing and supporting of critical systems. Foster teamwork and a spirit of collaboration among team members and business partners while conveying a sense of urgency and responsiveness to meet business needs. Actively participate in planning, definition, design & integration of IT Products /Application releases working with other technical leads/ architects as required. Provide technical solutions for the business and technical teams proactively by understanding the business requirements. Evaluate and recommend technology and frameworks for flexibility, long-term viability, and time to market. Regularly provides guidance, training and mentoring to enable other team members to meet/exceed expectations. Will be involved in all aspects of application/cloud engineering. The Skills that are Key to this role Technical BE/ B. Tech / M. Tech/ MBA/ MCA from an accredited college/university 7+ years of full stack software programming experience building scalable and high efficiency applications. Workday Certification with 4+ Years of implementation experience in Workday Integration module Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Boomerang Integrations, PECI & WECI and Worksheets Good to have experience on Workday Extend APP development & enhancements, Worksheets and Adaptive Planning modules. Good to have exposure as a contributor in all phases of Workday implementation. Strong software engineering experience Proven track record of independently delivering full stack components and features. Experience with JAVA, REST API development, API gateways Experience and good knowledge of AWS, mainly VPC, load balancers, EC2, compute, lambda, storage, RDS, EFS , S3 etc Proven hands-on experience with automation & pipeline implementation (Testing, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipeline), DevOps, CI/CD, Jenkins, Concourse, Git Stash, Artifactory Familiarity and usability with CloudWatch, data dog for observability Familiarity with a modern UI framework like Angular  Familiarity with SaaS platforms and vendor interactions for support Behavioral You have experience and comfort working in an agile environment (Scrum and Kanban) You possess strong engineering skills and experience developing maintainable, scalable multi-tiered applications. You are a strategic problem solver, bring your curiosity and excitement; desire to collaborate and work closely in a paired programming environment; be energized by fast, iterative, and acute programming practices. You are open to direction and following agreed upon standards; yet be comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy experimenting, developing, and communicating alternatives. You have maniacal focus on automation and always looking towards reducing waste and improving efficiencies. You should enjoy communicating and learning the business behind the application.
