Reporting to the ILS Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting all Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) activities across the development, delivery and sustainment of advanced combat systems. Working within a multidisciplinary project environment you will ensure supportability requirements are effectively embedded throughout the engineering lifecycle, supporting both introduction of innovative new technologies and the sustainment of existing operational capabilities. Key Responsibilities
Develop Sparing Supportability Analysis (SSA) including data extraction and analysis from various internal and Defence databases. Assess, monitor and report on progress of assigned ILS activities for engineering change projects and ensure any logistics support issues are advised to relevant persons/parties, through use of VBA tools. Support data interface between Defence ERP and Raytheon Inventory Management software. Support Maintenance Routine task development through provision of accurate spares data. Support spares modelling and optimisation Support Obsolescence Management process. Contribute to the development of methodology, processes, and tools, including the operations planning, and the management systems for maintenance, supply support, and other technical and support elements. Support Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) Skills, Experience and Qualifications Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics. Minimum 6 years relevant experience in a similar role. Experience within a Defence Integrated Logistics environment preferably within a Maritime environment is desirable. Experience in Defence SAPS4HANA, NAVALLOW and MCCAT databases. Experience in service parts management and optimization software. Basic VBA language skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders at client, peer, supplier and senior leadership levels. Available to undertake travel where necessary to meet requirements of the role.
