Oversees the treasury and risk management activities for Omnicare, setting strategic financial objectives and driving effective treasury operations. Collaborates with senior leadership to develop financial strategies, manage debt and capital structure, and optimize cash management practices. Analyzes financial data, makes data-driven decisions, and provides insights on financial risks and opportunities. Participates in capital budgeting, financial modeling, and financial reporting to support the organization's financial goals and ensure regulatory compliance. This role is remote. Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities Directs the company's cash flows, including forecasting and optimizing cash positions, monitoring bank balances, and ensuring sufficient liquidity for daily operations. Develops accurate cash flow forecasts to facilitate financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuring the availability of funds for upcoming expenses, and minimizing borrowing costs. Coordinates relationships with banks, negotiates banking services, manages bank accounts, and organizes activities such as wire transfers, account reconciliations, and cash pooling. Coordinates risk management activities related to the corporate insurance programs Assesses financial risks, including interest rate risks, foreign exchange risks, and credit risks, and develops strategies to mitigate these risks. Directs debt financing operations, including monitoring loan covenants, managing debt facilities, coordinating with lenders, and evaluating debt repayment strategies.Advises with managers to evaluate short-term investment options for excess cash, maximizing returns while considering safety and liquidity requirements. Collaborates with internal leaders, sharing regular insight and updates on the status of treasury or risk management activities. Ensures compliance with treasury-related regulations, and implements internal controls to safeguard company assets. Designs programs supporting cross-functional working capital initiatives, aimed to enhance and grow treasury competencies and scope of capabilities.
