About this role
About the Team The TikTok Shop MAI (Merchant Acquisition & Incubation) team acquires and incubates sellers both on and off platform. Through tiered seller development and operating strategies, and 1-on-1 support for high-potential sellers, the team works to expand e-commerce seller supply in the Japan market and maximise GMV growth.
Key Responsibilities • Seller Community (Lark) Operations Support, incl. Oncall (40%): Drive community participation (weekly invitation emails); onboard newly joined sellers; manage posts, announcements and shared materials; provide Oncall first-line response to seller inquiries; handle GNE / Policy inquiries (product freezes, account health, policy violations); escalate to GNE / Legal / Policy where required and follow up until resolution. • Online Growth Mission Setup Support (30%): Perform basic task configuration in Seller Center; check mission progress and run simple data checks; execute updates as directed by team members. • Campaign Operations Support (10%): Communicate and remind sellers of campaign information; confirm seller participation status; answer basic questions on how to join; light data consolidation for campaigns. • Basic Office Work (10%): Prepare materials (PowerPoint / Excel); organise contracts and lists; data entry and simple reporting; coordinate internal and external emails.
General Office Duties • Phone reception, visitor reception, supplies ordering & management, copy / fax / filing, meeting setup & preparation, mail handling, off-site errands, morning meeting attendance.
Working Conditions • Contract type: long term (2 months or longer, renewal assumed) • Working days: Monday–Friday (5 days/week); work from home: not available • Working hours: 10:00–19:00, 1-hour break (nominally 12:00–13:00, may be taken flexibly according to workload) • Overtime: approximately 20–30 hours per month • Off-site work: yes (offline events) | Weekend work: none
