What the day will look like Strategy & Business Development Develop and execute the Greater China Surety strategy in partnership with the Credit Solutions leadership team, driving sustainable growth and market presence. Build, manage, and advance the Greater China pipeline, working closely with internal stakeholders to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. Client Leadership & Relationship Management Lead and support key client relationships, partnering with local teams to develop client strategies, deliver solutions, and drive retention and growth. Build trusted relationships across client, insurer, and Aon colleagues, engaging stakeholders including Credit, Treasury, Finance, Procurement, and C-suite executives. Lead complex negotiations and provide strategic advice on surety placement. Broking & Market Engagement Drive strategic engagement with insurers to secure optimal surety capacity for clients. Serve as a senior point of escalation with insurers, leveraging market relationships to support client objectives and complex placements. Collaboration & One Aon Approach Champion Aon's value proposition, articulating how Aon helps clients make better decisions through integrated Risk Capital and Human Capital solutions. Collaborate with country, regional, and global colleagues to deliver the best of Aon to clients, contributing to client planning, strategy, and execution. Operational Excellence Leverage Aon platforms and systems effectively, including pipeline management, broking, and talent tools. Ensure adherence to Aon policies, compliance requirements, and the Code of Business Conduct. Take ownership of professional development goals aligned to the Aon Client Leadership model. Skills that will lead to success: Strong knowledge of Surety credit client growth and retention strategies, and relevant industry sectors and networks. Demonstrates a collaborative, inclusive, and client-centric approach, with a passion for delivering outstanding outcomes. Proven ability to build and leverage strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders to drive successful outcomes. Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently at senior executive levels. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and the ability to adapt quickly to business and CRM systems.
