About this role

Data is at the heart of how Intuit builds products, serves customers, and runs the business. Teams across the company rely on trusted insights to understand customer behavior, evaluate product performance, identify opportunities, and make critical business decisions. Delivering those insights quickly and consistently requires a modern Business Intelligence platform that makes it easy for people to find, understand, explore, and act on trusted data. We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy and evolution of Intuit's BI Platform. This leader will define how BI capabilities come together across self-service analytics, metrics and semantic layers, dashboards and visualization, data governance, discovery, and emerging AI-powered analytics experiences. You will work closely with engineering, data platform, data science, analytics, design, and business leaders across Intuit to define a shared platform vision and translate complex user and technical needs into a clear product strategy. You will identify the highest-leverage platform investments, establish standards and capabilities that can scale across the company, and drive adoption by delivering experiences that make trusted insights easier and faster to access. The ideal candidate combines deep platform product expertise, strong technical and data fluency, exceptional customer empathy, and a track record of influencing complex organizations. You understand both the needs of sophisticated analysts and the opportunity to democratize data for a much broader population of business and product users. You can operate comfortably across strategy, architecture, user experience, governance, and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Intuit's Business Intelligence platform, including self-service analytics, metrics and semantic capabilities, visualization, data discovery, and AI-powered BI experiences. Develop a deep understanding of both BI end users and internal platform consumer teams, and translate their needs into scalable platform capabilities. Partner closely with engineering, data science, and design leaders to make product and technical tradeoffs across performance, scalability, interoperability, governance, reliability, and user experience. Align senior leaders and cross-functional teams around shared platform priorities, architectural principles, and measures of success. Influence roadmaps and investment decisions across multiple teams and organizations without direct authority. Serve as a product thought leader for data and analytics, helping shape Intuit's broader strategy for how data, BI, and AI come together to improve decision-making.

Qualifications

10+ years of product management experience, with significant experience building and scaling data, analytics, developer, or enterprise platforms. Proven success defining and executing platform product strategies that span multiple teams, systems, and organizational boundaries. Deep understanding of the modern BI and analytics ecosystem, including dashboards and visualization, self-service analytics, semantic layers, metrics, data discovery, governance, and analytics workflows. Strong technical fluency with data platforms and architectures, with the ability to partner deeply with engineering and architecture leaders on APIs, data models, metadata, performance, scalability, and platform tradeoffs. Experience building products for multiple user personas, from highly technical analysts and data practitioners to business users and executives. Strong understanding of AI and its emerging role in analytics, including natural-language interfaces, AI-assisted analysis, insight generation, and the importance of grounding AI experiences in governed, trusted data. Demonstrated ability to develop platform strategies that drive both customer value and organizational leverage, including making effective build-versus-buy and standardization-versus-flexibility decisions.
