Senior or Principal Mining Engineer

What you’ll do Provide technical and consulting services to mining clients Act as Mining Lead, Project Manager or Project Engineer across EPCM and project delivery scopes Lead and/or deliver technical work across Concept, PEA, PFS and FS studies Support technical execution of mining projects Contribute to business development strategies and maintain professional networks Undertake site visits and provide on-site support as required Key service areas include: Mine planning and design Mining method selection Mine optimisation CAPEX and OPEX cost estimation Equipment selection Project and study management Due diligence and technical audits On-site support Peer reviews What you’ll have Extensive operational hard rock experience in underground and/or surface mine design and scheduling Experience in Block Caving and/or Sub-Level Caving highly regarded Strong proficiency using the Deswik suite of software, or other industry-standard mining software Experience with NI 43-101 and/or JORC compliant studies highly regarded, including sign-off as Competent/Qualified Person Willingness to travel as required Degree in Mining Engineering Why you should apply Flexible and hybrid working arrangements Access to our global online learning platform Competitive remuneration and employee benefits Varied and challenging project work, working on both Australian and international projects Become part of an international team of mining engineering professionals All supporting engineering disciplines ‘under the one roof’ Career development opportunities beyond this role About us Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts headquartered in Australia.
