Carpenter

• High School diploma or equivalent. Graduate of building related vocational - technical programs are preferred. • Minimum of three years recent experience performing maintenance work in building related trades. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Able to perform duties with a high degree of accuracy and care to avoid structural breakdowns. • Abel to respond to direct and radio requests as soon as possible. • Able to maintain proper neat uniform appearance. • Must be computer literate. • Must possess a valid driver’s license. • If state law requires, must possess a valid boiler license. • Ability to read and comprehend manuals, prints, and work orders. • Knowledge of tools and equipment maintenance. • General record keeping skills. • Customer service orientation and sensitivity to diverse needs of coworkers, employees, and other persons contacted in the daily course of work. • Ability to work independently
