The Marketing Data Analyst III will support data-driven decision making across the Interventional Oncology and Embolization (IO&E) marketing organization. The analyst will report into the Marketing Activation group, and will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, generating actionable insights, and applying advanced analytics and AI to improve customer engagement, optimize marketing performance, and support business growth. This individual will also drive effective customer segmentation that will inform several activities including personalization, digital marketing efforts, and other commercial tactics. Additionally, this role will be a key stakeholder of IO&E’s overall data management strategy, data governance, and data accessibility in order to drive & enable AI initiatives for IO&E marketing. Work model, sponsorship, relocation: At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local Maple Grove, Minnesota, office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include: Data Analysis & Marketing Insights
Analyze data from internal systems & digital platforms (i.e. Salesforce, SAP, Tableau), market research, and healthcare data sources (i.e. IQVIA) to identify trends and opportunities. Develop dashboards and reports to monitor campaign performance, physician engagement, and commercial effectiveness. Translate complex datasets into actionable insights for marketing, sales, and leadership teams.
Marketing & Campaign Effectiveness
Track and optimize key performance indicators such as HCP engagement, lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI. Support omnichannel marketing initiatives (email, digital, events, field engagement) through data-driven recommendations. Develop insightful digital marketing KPIs, campaign ROI, and attribution models to represent the marketing activation team’s efforts supporting the broader business goals and objectives.
AI & Advanced Analytics Applications
Apply predictive analytics and machine learning models to forecast demand, segment healthcare providers (HCPs), and identify high-value opportunities. Leverage AI tools to enhance personalization, content optimization, and campaign automation. Explore generative AI use cases within marketing while ensuring adherence to regulatory and brand standards.
Customer Segmentation
Develop segmentation models for healthcare providers, hospitals, and key accounts. Analyze customer journeys across digital and field touchpoints to improve engagement strategies. Support competitive analysis and market assessments with data-backed insights.
Data Governance & Compliance
Ensure all data usage aligns with healthcare regulations, privacy laws (HIPAA, GDPR), and internal compliance policies. Partner with legal, compliance, and IT teams to maintain data integrity, security, and appropriate use of AI technologies. Document methodologies and maintain audit-ready analytics processes.
