Job Description

Support the Supervisor in the day-to-day operation of the Air Import department while ensuring the timely and accurate movement of freight and delivering exceptional customer service. Serve as a role model for operational excellence, teamwork, and customer focus, helping drive department performance and employee development.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure smooth and timely shipment process flow from receipt of documents through final delivery. Follow and promote compliance with customer SOPs, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operational systems. Monitor shipment activity and proactively address issues to maintain customer satisfaction. Support the Supervisor in allocating workloads and balancing team resources to meet operational demands. Monitor workboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure service standards and productivity goals are achieved. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Assist in responding to customer requests, quotations, and pricing inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Conduct customer reviews and maintain accurate CRM documentation. Monitor invoicing accuracy and BNP reports and assist with issue resolution as required. Serve as a resource and mentor to team members by sharing knowledge, coaching on best practices, and supporting employee development. Promote collaboration, accountability, and a positive team environment. Support the implementation of process improvements, system enhancements, and operational initiatives. Communicate policy, system, and regulatory updates to the team. Contribute to department productivity and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
