As an OFP Quality Engineer - Weld for John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline, IL supporting the Front End Equipment Weld Business Unit, you will:
Identify and implement continuous improvement projects impacting safety, quality, efficiency, and cost improvements. Develop, monitor, and maintain quality control systems and procedures to ensure that products meet established quality standards and customer requirements throughout the production and delivery processes. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, operations, and supplier quality, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Work with SAP, MPPlanner, and JDAAT to perform engineering functions

Ability to work off shifts, overtime, and weekends if needed Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with production teams and external suppliers A self-starter with the ability to execute a variety of tasks Experience in one or more related engineering areas: industrial, reliability, design, manufacturing, or quality Experience with engineering tools, systems, and databases What Makes You Standout
Previous shop floor experience working in a union environment Experience with CVML, torque tooling, or other mistake proofing tools Experience with JDAAT coding and other MES systems (SAP, Ignition, etc) Experience with AutoCAD and Creo View software GMAW experience & failure modes Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, data analytics, or equivalent related work experience. Others may apply.
