The Headlines
In the role of Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the global Data, Analytics and AI team. The person will manage a team of internal and external resources to deliver successful business intelligence and analytics solutions, acting as a strategic consult to business leaders and ensuring all exiting solutions are fully leveraged and used correctly. This role requires a candidate who can build strong business relationships, translate and work through complex situations and translate intricate IT ideas to business leaders across the company.
What You'll Be Brewing
• Manage project teams consisting of internal and external resources in large IT programs as well as supporting smaller projects and value-add enhancements generally in the Palantir Foundry platform
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand business strategies, tactics, and plans, setting shared goals to plan and deliver business intelligence, data and analytics initiatives to address business needs
• Lead the design, development, deployment, and transition of data analytics solutions, partnering with backend engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver tangible progress that business leaders can see and react to
• Provide subject matter expertise (functional and technical) to colleagues such as Enterprise Architects, Information Technology Business Partners, and Business Stakeholders
• Build and maintain Spark/PySpark data pipelines within Palantir Foundry, including data ingestion, transformation, and normalization from enterprise source systems (SAP, S4/HANA, and related operational databases)
• Define, develop and govern ontology models, object types, actions and link types aligned to business requirements and data architecture standards
• Perform data integration and validation activities including source system connectivity, data quality validation across pipeline stages, and end-to-end data lineage verification
• Create and maintain Webhooks for writeback to ERP applications
• Build and iterate frontend applications, dashboards, and user-facing modules within the Palantir Foundry ecosystem (Workshop, Contour, or Carbon as applicable), translating ambiguous or evolving business requests into clear, usable interfaces
• Develop advanced visual components including interactive charts and data visualizations using TypeScript and tools such as Vega or comparable libraries
Key Ingredients
• You have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years experience in the data and analytics field or in lieu of a degree, 12 years of experience related to data and analytics
• You possess advanced knowledge and technical skills in Palantir Foundry and related toolsets, including 2 years of experience with Palantir Foundry
• You would have at least one full life-cycle system implementation or three full life-cycle major system change initiatives, serving in the
