Meet the Team Enterprise Risk Technology sits within Millennium’s Information Technology organization, which is core to the health and growth of the firm. The team supports a flexible, scalable technology environment and advanced proprietary systems that help power next-generation analytical capabilities across the business. Working closely with global partners, the team focuses on building and enhancing technology that supports risk analytics and data-driven decision-making across asset classes. What You'll Do • Partner with quants, risk managers, and technologists across New York, London, and Singapore to build and enhance multi-asset analytics, stress testing, and VaR capabilities for Millennium’s in-house risk platform • Develop Python-based microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI or Django to deliver scalable, reliable solutions • Analyze and transform large datasets using pandas, polars, and related data libraries to support business and risk objectives • Build, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications and services in AWS • Contribute to robust development workflows using Git and appropriate database technologies • Support the delivery of data-driven tools and applications for stakeholders across the risk technology ecosystem What You Bring • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through complex technical and business challenges • Hands-on experience with Python and data analysis libraries such as pandas and polars • Experience designing or working with REST APIs and cloud-based services • Strong relational database and SQL development experience • Solid Unix/Linux command-line skills • Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Aurora, and Redshift is a plus • Exposure to identity and access management concepts and tools such as Kerberos, OAuth 2.0, and LDAP is a plus • Broad understanding of financial services instruments, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from a Tier 1 college
