Line of Service Advisory Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Fraud, Investigations & Regulatory Enforcement (FIRE) Management Level Manager Job Description & Summary The Pursuit & Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving the growth agenda of the Financial Crime by supporting business development, market activation, and strategic pursuits across multiple territories. The role goes beyond traditional proposal management. The Manager will work with leadership and pursuit teams from early-stage opportunity development through qualification, solution shaping, proposal development, executive review, and submission. The individual will help identify and develop opportunities, understand client and market needs, shape compelling propositions, coordinate cross-territory pursuit teams, and translate complex Financial Crime capabilities into clear commercial value. The role requires a strong consulting and business development mindset, strategic thinking, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to drive multiple opportunities in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. Business Development & Market Activation Support the development and execution of FC business development priorities across local, regional, and global markets. Work with FC leadership and territory teams to identify, qualify, and develop potential opportunities and priority accounts. Conduct market, client, competitor, and industry research to support opportunity development and commercial decision-making. Identify emerging client needs, market trends, and potential areas for new Financial Crime propositions or services. Support account planning, client targeting, capability positioning, and go-to-market initiatives. Translate market insights into actionable business development initiatives. Contribute to the development of FC credentials, propositions, thought leadership, capability materials, and other market-facing assets. Pursuit & Opportunity Management Lead and coordinate priority pursuits from opportunity qualification through proposal submission and, where applicable, client presentation. Develop pursuit strategies, workplans, timelines, governance, responsibilities, and key milestones. Facilitate pursuit kick-offs, solutioning discussions, storyboarding sessions, and executive reviews. Coordinate cross-functional and cross-territory pursuit teams comprising business leaders, subject matter experts, account teams, solution teams, and enabling functions. Maintain momentum across pursuits by proactively managing dependencies, risks, actions, and escalation items. Support leadership in assessing opportunity attractiveness, strategic fit, competitive positioning, and pursuit readiness. Ensure pursuit teams remain focused on client outcomes and commercial differentiation rather than purely capability-based responses. Solution Shaping & Win Strategy Work with business leaders and subject matter experts to understand client challenges and shape relevant Financial Crime solutions. Develop clear and compelling value propositions aligned with client priorities and evaluation criteria. Facilitate storyboarding and win-theme development for strategic opportunities. Challenge pursuit teams to articulate client outcomes, business value, differentiators, and reasons to believe. Help translate complex operational, technical, and Financial Crime concepts into clear executive-level messaging. Support the development of commercially compelling pursuit narratives and executive presentations. Proposal Development & Quality Coordinate the development of high-quality RFP, RFI, RFQ, proposal, and other client response materials.
