Hardware Design Engineer - GNSS RF and Digital Validation Are you a passionate hardware engineer ready to build cutting-edge positioning solutions that connect the physical and digital worlds? What Makes This Role Great: In this role, you will work directly at the intersection of RF, digital, and mechanical engineering, gaining hands-on exposure across multiple disciplines while taking ownership of test automation and hardware validation for high-impact GNSS products. Key Exciting Responsibilities: • Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to support RF design and characterize critical hardware components. • Design and verify custom PCB boards and specialized test fixture assemblies. • Spearhead automated design engineering validation tests using Python to optimize testing workflows. • Execute end-to-end EVT, DVT, PVT, and RMA test procedures across multiple active product lines. • Organize, analyze, and present key validation results to drive continuous product performance improvements. Essential Skills & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on RF, Analog, or Communications preferred. • 1+ years of experience with RF engineering (academic projects and internships count). • Hands-on experience operating RF instruments such as VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and general lab equipment. • Proficiency using Python or similar languages for test automation and data analysis. • Solid foundation in circuit theory and key RF metrics like gain, noise figure, intermodulation, and S-parameters. • Strong practical skills working under a microscope, including manual surface mount soldering (0402 and 0201 parts). Bonus Points For: • Experience with Cadence CIS Schematic Capture and Allegro PCB Design. • Familiarity with schematic layout and PCB design techniques. • Strong self-starter mindset with excellent collaborative communication skills.
