As an Excavator Hydraulic Design Engineer for John Deere Construction and Forestry located in Dubuque, IA you will:
Use data analysis and systems modeling tools such as: Excel, MatLab, Simulink, PTC Creo, Automation Studio, Windchill PDMLink, and SAP Be a member of a Global Design Team Environment including members from Dubuque, Kernersville, India, China, and Brazil Support new product durability builds, production builds, and field issue resolution for a globally-focused product Design Routed systems and integrate components in Next Gen Excavators Contribute to product design guidelines for Excavators

Strong communication and organizational skills 1 or more years of cumulative product design experience Experience balancing multiple tasks Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (up to 10%) Ability and willingness to work outside of core business hours due to the international aspects of the product line (less than 10%) What Makes You Stand Out
Effective organizational and communication skills to facilitate activities with supply management, manufacturing, quality, PV&V, suppliers, and other stakeholders Demonstrated project management and leadership skills Experience with hydraulic system component design, diagnostics, or repair including hoses, tubes, valves, motors, cylinders and pumps Experience working on excavator machine forms Experience utilizing Creo in a system design environment Experience with PDMLink and SAP in a system design environment International experience and knowledge (low) Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
