Summary The Vaccines Area Business Manager (ABM) will report into the Regional Business Director (RBD) and will work with customer-facing colleagues(Accounts and Pharmacy) as well as Headquarters (HQ) teams across the organization. The ABM will be responsible for the supervision and leadership of 9-12 representatives within the assigned area, sales performance of the business portfolio of products, and business knowledge of the area landscape to assess key stakeholders plus future trends within the business marketplace. Additionally, the ABM should demonstrate expert understanding of the complexities associated with the business of vaccines and their local healthcare ecosystem to develop in-depth sales business plans. This position will require regular in field and virtual coaching, observation of field representatives, and frequent customer engagement as well as the development of a strong, effective partnership with accounts, retail, and marketing colleagues. The ABM will ensure compliant execution by team members, driving understanding of relevant policies and guidance and advancing a culture of integrity.

Responsibilities Team Leadership & Performance Management Hire, coach, develop, and manage 9–12 representatives across the vaccines portfolio Establish clear team goals, hold team members accountable to performance standards, and manage underperformance with directness and care Build a strong team culture grounded in engagement, morale, and a continuous improvement mindset Apply situational leadership and multimodal coaching — live, virtual, and hybrid — to strengthen rep capabilities across all engagement types Ensure colleagues receive meaningful development opportunities that support career growth and long-term engagement Business Planning & Execution Develop and implement strategic area business plans aligned to national and regional priorities across the vaccines portfolio Own area-level budget accountability; plans, organizes, and monitors resource deployment to maximize business potential Conduct proactive data analysis to identify market trends, assess key stakeholders, and anticipate future shifts in the business landscape Ensure effective and efficient utilization of promotional materials and measure field execution against plan Collaborate with Marketing during the Op Plan process to shape key strategies, business imperatives, and objectives Customer Engagement & Key Account Development Build and maintain relationships with customers (including KOLs), IDNs, large group practices, Retail stores, Grantees, FQHCs, DoD, VA, across vaccines therapeutic areas Model high clinical knowledge and the ability to lead credible, science-forward conversations across the vaccines portfolio Identify and pursue key account development opportunities that impact area and national business Champion the value of cross-functional collaboration to meet customer needs; connect HSPs with channel and HQ partners to address complex customer requirements Coach reps on seamlessly integrating digital tools and cross-functional colleagues into customer engagements Coach on execution of Consultative Account-Based Portfolio Selling (CAPS) Compliance & Integrity Ensure full compliance of all selling activities for self and team with all legal, regulatory, and Pfizer policy requirements Maintain complete working knowledge of all relevant compliance policies; escalate issues promptly Ensure all team actions reflect Pfizer’s commitment to integrity, model compliant behavior in every customer and internal interaction Digital & Operational Excellence Expert-level operation of digital and virtual tools and platforms Apply data-driven resource management to ensure appropriate channel deployment across a dual-portfolio area Leverage sales data and reporting software to draw conclusions, adjust strategy, and adapt to Pfizer’s evolving technology model Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 6+ years of
