About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise across a broad range of asset classes while working alongside experienced ETF traders. The successful candidate will gain exposure to global equity markets, derivatives, commodities, and portfolio implementation strategies while contributing to the efficient management of Invesco's ETF platform. Responsibilities of the Role: Under the supervision of senior traders, execute trades in accordance with SEC and SRO regulations while adhering to best execution standards. Trade multi-asset orders associated with index events, rebalances & reconstitutions, rolls and creation/redemptions using a variety of trading strategies, technologies and market venues. Partner closely with fund managers to provide market intelligence, discuss implementation considerations, and identify opportunities to improve executions outcomes. Act as a liaison between the trading desk and supporting functions, including capital markets, investment operations, compliance, legal, and other stakeholders to resolve issues that arise. Maintain awareness of developments in market structure, liquidity, regulations and trading technology. Participate in meetings with brokers and other industry representatives for develop relationships, gather market intelligence, and stay informed of industry trends. Requirements for the Role: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. 1 to 3 years of experience in asset management, trading, capital markets, investment operations, portfolio analytics, or a related financial services role. Collaborative mindset and ability to build strong working relationships across teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to conduct complex analysis and present data in a meaningful way Prior trading experience or knowledge preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bloomberg Terminal. FINRA Series 57 license required or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe. The salary range for this position in New York, New York is 110,000 - 160,000/year USD.
