Overview
Windows is used by billions of people worldwide, making customer feedback and product data essential to understanding and improving their experiences. The Windows Insider Program team within Windows Servicing and Delivery (WSD) is hiring a Principal Product Manager to shape the evolution of the Windows Feedback Hub and improve how Windows teams turn feedback, telemetry, and related signals into product and engineering decisions that improve Windows quality and build customer trust. In this role, you will set direction across two connected areas: customer feedback experiences and data and telemetry analysis for Windows quality. You will work across engineering, data science, research, support, and communications to turn complex signals into clear priorities, measurable outcomes, and improvements for customers. You will have opportunities to deepen your expertise in large-scale quality systems, customer feedback, product analytics, and responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) assisted analysis. Responsibilities
Define and drive product strategy, success measures, and feedback loops Windows customer feedback experiences, including the Windows Feedback Hub. Use customer feedback, telemetry, reliability, release, and other product signals to identify opportunities to improve Windows quality. Explore AI-assisted capabilities that can improve feedback quality, analysis, issue detection, and engineering efficiency. Synthesize complex technical and customer inputs into clear recommendations for engineering teams and leadership.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development. OR equivalent experience. Other Requirements Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience leading product strategy and delivery in a large technology environment, with proven success partnering across engineering, design, and business teams to ship products from inception through launch. Ability to develop, understand, and apply domain-specific technical knowledge to suggest and deliver product designs and specifications that deliver business outcomes. Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Demonstrated big data experience, with the ability to evaluate complex information and produce actionable business insights and reports. #WSDJOBS Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
