Job Description Job Description: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Role Overview We are seeking a curious, confident, and highly dynamic SDET who thrives in fast‑paced agile environments. This role is automation‑first and AI‑first , focused on building scalable, reliable, and intelligent test solutions across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong Python automation expertise , hands‑on experience with Playwright and Appium , and actively leverages AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate quality and productivity.

Design, develop, and maintain automation‑first test frameworks using Python Build and execute automated tests for web applications using Playwright Develop and maintain mobile automation solutions using Appium Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable releases Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps in agile teams Champion AI‑driven testing practices , using tools like GitHub Copilot to improve efficiency and code quality Identify, analyze, and clearly communicate quality risks and defects Continuously improve test strategies, tooling, and frameworks with a quality‑engineering mindset Promote best practices in test automation, code quality, and maintainability Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer Proficiency in Python for test automation and framework development Hands‑on experience with: Playwright (web automation) Appium (mobile automation) Solid understanding of automation frameworks, test design patterns, and CI/CD Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments Comfortable using GitHub, GitHub Copilot , and modern developer workflows Strong problem‑solving skills with a curious and confident attitude Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills Experience with AI‑assisted testing or AI‑powered developer tools Knowledge of cloud‑based testing platforms Exposure to performance, API, or security testing Experience influencing quality strategy at team or org level Qualifications Bachelors - Computer Engineering, Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Information Technology, Masters - Software Engineering Certifications AZ-204: Microsoft Azure Developer Associate - MicrosoftMicrosoft, BUILD - DIGITAL MARKETING - GenpactGenpact, ISTQB Certified Tester - International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate - MicrosoftMicrosoft, Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 8 Programmer I - OracleOracle Required Skills
